Andrew Roblett and Robin Sumner after a successful acquisition from the previous owners of PDC in mid September, are now the joint directors of PDC. The business has retained its full workforce and both businesses now operate from the same premises in Chatham, Kent.
When asked about the businesses Roblett replied, “there is incredible synergy between these two companies. We have already seen huge benefits from combining our mutual skill sets. The cross germination of products has already led to massive client benefit and an upturn in sales”.
As part of the joint venture a new Mimaki JFX200 251 has been purchased. The new JFX is the recently launched EX model, with the new 2.5D feature offering raised relief printing and provides the very best in lenticular print output.
Sumner, described the addition of the new kit as “providing exceptional depth and quality to the print output that has already opened doors to new clients and driven innovative new products for the events and fine art client that both businesses work with – we are very excited about the future”.
Established in 1992, PDC produces a range of plastic cards including event passes, ID Cards, personalised products and membership cards for a range of clients across the UK and internationally.
