Date: Fri 23rd April 2021
Continuing investment in innovation and quality remains our key focus at PDC. To ensure clients receive the very best service then we only look to employ the best. The most important element of any business is its employees.
We are extremely pleased to therefore, announce that PDC have recruited two excellent team members to boost operational capacity and invest in the future growth plans for the business.
Mark has worked in the print industry his whole working life covering roles from print production to complex finishing requirements. Mark possesses a keen eye for detail and is meticulous in his approach. He has already become a very welcome and respected member of the team and we are excited about what else he can bring to help improve our client service offering through operational innovation.
Mark’s main focus will be improving our card production finishing department helping to streamline the efficiency and output. Mark’s invaluable experience will also be fully utilised in training our other latest recruit our new apprentice Joshua.
Investment in and providing opportunity for younger team members is a vital process. Not only to ensure that fresh inquisitive minds are bought in to challenge our industry but also to ensure that we are investing in the future.
Joshua started at PDC at the end of March in an apprentice role in the finishing and card production department. Joshua is a keen skateboarder who volunteers at the local skatepark training novices and commutes to work daily on his board. As part of his apprenticeship, he is training for NVQ Level 3 under the BPIFs apprentice scheme.
An extremely positive and hardworking young man who has already proved his worth. We look forward to seeing him grow and develop in this new role.
We are always looking for bright and enthusiastic people to join our team.
We currently have an opportunity for a 2nd apprentice working at PDC with our sister company www.lentico.co.uk based at the same site in Chatham. This role would suit somebody with an interest in design and print.
